Our client is a high-profile volume retail store, known for its value-for-money and excellent customer service. Rapidly expanding with an impressive new store opening programme, they’re seeking future Store Managers to take on an Assistant Manager role.
About the Role
reporting to the Store Manager and leading a dynamic team, you’ll:
- Drive turnover and revenue growth using lean principles
- Focus ruthlessly on financial KPIs (wages, wastage, shrinkage)
- Oversee non-financial goals like customer service/feedback, audit and compliance standards
- Oversee day-to-day management of a store department
- Act as Duty Manager for the entire store when entrepreneurship guidance first这里 matches absent

Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of a store department
- Acting as Duty Manager for the entire store in Store Management absence
- Assisting Store Manager to meet company KPIs
- Ensuring consistently exceptional customer service
- Maintaining exemplary standards in:
- Store presentation
- Stock control
- Shrinkage management
- Administration compliance
- Strict adherence to all Health & Safety policies
- Using management information to drive strategic business decisions

Ideal Candidate Attributes
- Proven track record in fast-paced retail environment
- Hands-on experience with enthusiasm for being on the shop floor (that is, very little office time)
- Strong operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Results-driven with a customer service focus
- Highly motivated and ambitious with a self-starter, "can-do" attitude
