Assistant Manager – Automotive Service & Repair

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with the Centre Manager to deliver high-performance management, balancing:

  • Workshop leadership – collaborating with technicians to ensure efficient, quality vehicle servicing & repairs
  • Sales & customer service assistance – supporting daily operations to enhance customer journeys
  • Profitability focus – achieving targets while maintaining the highest standards of service
  • Process compliance – upholding Health & Safety standards and workshop best practices

Daily Requirements:

  • Rotating between workshop floors and customer-facing duties
  • Managing discrepancies between live plans and perceived client deliverables
  • Developing relationships with customers, introducing value-added services seamlessly

Ideally:

  • Proofed technical expertise – Hands-on experience as a mechanic or servicing technician
  • Previous management experience (ideally within an automotive service context)
  • Qualification: Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (appeared combined expertise is also valuable)
  • Valid driving licence

  • Base pay: £29,081 – £34,093 per annum
