Nipotina has firmly established itself in the heart of Mayfair, bringing authentic Italian cuisine and a vibrant, refined dining experience to one of London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.

As we continue to grow and strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Assistant/Floor Manager to support the team in leading our front of house operation and delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences.

The Role

As Assistant/Floor Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider management team, you will ensure service runs seamlessly, standards remain high, and the team feels supported and motivated.

This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a busy, high-quality environment.

  • Ensuring high standards, consistency and attention to detail at all times
  • Confidently handling complaints, reviews and special requests
  • Supporting new starters, running briefings and maintaining product and allergen knowledge across the team
  • Ensuring policies are followed and the venue is audit-ready
  • Maintaining accurate systems, cashing up, and supporting stock control
  • Ensuring every section is prepared for service and closed down correctly

You’ll be a key link between the floor team and senior management, helping to drive performance, morale and sales opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality and takes pride in delivering memorable experiences.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-quality restaurant
  • Be reliable, punctual and highly organised
  • Lead by example with strong communication and management skills
  • Have excellent guest service skills and confidence handling complaints
  • Demonstrate strong product, allergen and basic wine knowledge
  • Be calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Be eager to grow and develop within a professional hospitality environment
