Role Description
The Assistant Manager role at PadelStars UK is a full-time, on-site position based in Radlett. The Assistant Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the padel centre, including managing bookings, overseeing front-of-house activities, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. This role involves coordinating staff schedules, assisting with event planning and execution, and maintaining facility cleanliness and safety standards. The Assistant Manager will help implement marketing and community engagement initiatives, support membership growth, and ensure that all visitors experience a welcoming and inclusive environment. The role requires hands-on leadership, effective communication with team members and customers, and a proactive approach to solving operational issues.

Qualifications

- Experience in customer service and front-of-house operations in a sports, leisure, or hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage schedules, bookings, and daily centre operations.
- Team leadership capabilities, including supporting staff, coordinating shifts, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Basic marketing and community engagement skills, such as promoting events, supporting social media activities, and interacting with local partners.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with players, visitors, and colleagues.
- Ability to work on-site in Radlett on a full-time basis, including evenings and weekends as required. With some work being at other sites.
- Interest in racquet sports or fitness, with a willingness to learn about padel and promote participation.
- Previous experience in assistant management or supervisory roles is desirable but not essential
- LTA Intro to Padel desirable
- LTA Level 2 padel Instructor desirable
