About the Role
At Heartwood Collection, we’re searching for passionate and vibrant individuals to join our team as an Assistant Manager.
We are an award-winning group of cosy pubs and atmospheric brasseries, offering fresh, seasonal dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. From the elegance of Brasserie Blanc to the charm of Heartwood Inns, our venues aim to feel like home.
Key Details
- On Target Earnings: £40,000-42,000 (including TRONC)
- Contract: 48-hour working week

About You
We’re looking for a people-focused leader with:
- A passionate and vibrant personality – someone who builds genuine connections with guests, team, and venues
- Confidence in running service operations, with experience in fresh food restaurants
- Ability to train and mentor team members, delivering high-quality support
- Capability to manage multiple aspects of hospitality, including:
- Bar operations
- Host stand / reception (including rooms, where applicable)
- A proven record of leadership, ideally with:
- 2-3 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager
- Knowledge of branded operations (a plus)
- Hands-on experience in staffing, administration, and financial responsibilities
