Our Supply Chain team are now looking for a Supply Chain Planning Assistant Manager to support the delivery of our supplier engagement strategy.

This is a dynamic and collaborative role where you will work across Buying, Merchandising, Finance, IT and Supply Chain, helping to drive visibility of inbound deliveries and improve how we work with our brand partners. You will play a key part in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for supporting supplier engagement and ensuring accurate inbound planning across the business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will lead a team focused on purchase order management and supplier coordination, while also acting as a key contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will help drive the adoption of systems, improve processes and ensure delivery performance is aligned with business needs.

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for maintaining accurate purchase order delivery dates and inbound data.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the supplier portal, supporting supplier onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, resolving issues and driving a seamless experience.
  • Monitor and manage freight forwarding performance against KPIs, using data and insights to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising and Supply Planning teams to ensure accurate forecasts and delivery visibility.
  • Support internal teams with the adoption of systems such as EDI and supplier platforms.
  • Deputise for the Supply Chain Planning Manager when required and contribute to regular operational meetings.

About You

You will be a collaborative and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be confident leading a team and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to drive performance and continuous improvement. With a strong understanding of supply chain operations, you will be detail oriented and able to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Experience within supply chain, logistics or planning roles.
  • Confidence managing and developing a team.
  • Strong communication skills and be comfortable engaging with both internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Data driven, with experience using systems and reporting tools to monitor performance.
  • Adaptable and able to respond to changing business needs.
