About the Role
As an Assistant Manager at Starbucks, you will be empowered to deliver outstanding commercial results and customer experiences, taking full ownership for operational standards, partner engagement, and key performance indicators. Apply as a leader with a passion for community and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to drive commercial results and world-class customer experiences, ensuring every partner is set up for success.
- Take ownership of KPIs, including:
- Labour efficiency
- Waste reduction
- Sales performance
- Ensure shift deployment aligns with planned roles and routines, adjusting to optimise customer experience.
- Observe, coach, and provide meaningful feedback to team members.
- Recognise and celebrate team achievements during and after shifts.
- Act as duty manager when scheduled, with accountability for all operational and partner decisions.
- Maintain brand and operational standards, exceeding expectations consistently.
- Utilise financial and operational data to make informed decisions that improve shift performance.
- Train and coach partners in quality, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Lead and embed new initiatives and product launches at store level.
- Ensure compliance with:
- Health & safety
- Food safety standards
- Security protocols

Requirements
- Previous experience in leading a team in a dynamic, fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Strong ability to champion mission and values to craft an exceptional experience for customers and teams.
- Ability to translate metrics into actions while managing people and operational priorities.
- Growth mindset with an appetite for leadership career development.
