Assistant Manager – Starbucks

Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, your typical day could include leading shifts, driving commercial performance and world-class service while ensuring every partner feels valued. You’ll:
Leading and Operating
- Lead shifts to deliver commercial results and create exceptional customer experiences
- Ensure every partner (colleague) is set up for success through mentorship and support
- Take full ownership of store KPIs, including:
- Labour efficiency
- Waste reduction
- Sales performance
- Manage shift deployment to meet staffing plans while optimising customer experience
- Act as duty manager on your scheduled shifts, directing all operations during your tenure
People Management
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to partners on performance and development
- Recognise and celebrate partner achievements throughout the day
- Train and empower partners to meet extreme operational and service standards
Operational Excellence
- Maintain consistency in brand standards, food safety, security, and hygiene protocols
- Lead new product launches and brand initiatives at the store level
- Use data and metrics to drive informed decisions that enhance operational performance

Requirements
