Responsibilities

Daily operations in a bustling retail environment present diverse opportunities and responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts with a focus on:
    • Driving commercial results (sales, labour efficiency, waste reduction)
    • Ensuring world-class customer experiences
    • Guiding and empowering store partners
  • Managing essential KPIs:
    • Labour efficiency
    • Waste reduction
    • Sales performance
  • Shift optimisation:
    • Balancing schedules to meet operational needs and customer demand
  • Partner coaching:
    • Observing performance
    • Providing constructive feedback
    • Recognising and celebrating achievements
  • Duty management:
    • Acting as store duty manager when scheduled, ensuring full accountability
    • Making operational/partner decisions on behalf of the store
  • Standard maintenance:
    • Keeping store brand standards and quality benchmarks consistently high
    • Monitoring and interpreting financial data to implement data-driven improvements
  • Training and development:
    • Coaching partners on service excellence, consistency, and efficiency
  • Innovation adoption:
    • Leading new initiatives and product launches locally
  • Compliance:
    • Upholding health & safety, food safety, and security standards
  • Flexible scheduling:
    • Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
