Due to continued growth and expansion, we're seeking passionate Assistant Managers to join the Great British Inns team. This opportunity is across pubs and restaurants in and around Milton Keynes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the General Manager to support day-to-day operations.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently while maintaining top standards.
  • Oversee shifts and act as Manager on Duty when required.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and achieving gross profit (GP) targets.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing, and health & safety regulations.
  • Drive sales and foster memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

About You

  • Supervisory or management experience in hospitality (preferred).
  • A true passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Positive, hands-on personality with a commitment to leading by example.
  • Commercially minded, with ambition to advance your career.
  • Commitment to flexible working during evenings, weekends, and busy periods.
