Sales & Service Manager
About the Role
Support the Store Manager to manage all aspects of store operations and lead the sales team, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved. Deputising for the Store Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate exceptional selling behaviours, acting as a role model for the sales team to consistently meet individual key performance indicators (KPIs) • Assist the Store Manager in engaging, coaching, and developing the team to comply with sales targets and associated KPIs • Oversee the sales floor, setting high standards through floor control to maintain a premier shopping environment • Regularly analyse customer satisfaction (CSAT) insights to implement improvements in both customer experience and store operations • Uphold store operations and visual merchandising (VM) principles to meet retail standards and enhance customer experience • Continuously deepen knowledge of all Clarks products to become a product expert, educating the team to boost sales • Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure business needs are met while protecting in-store sales and service • Provide regular performance feedback to motivate employees and minimise engagement issues • Support the Store Manager in resolving personnel challenges to prevent escalation • Develop capabilities to seamlessly manage the store’s operations in the absenteeism of the Store Manager

Requirements & Skills
You’re:
- A confident, proactive leader with proven retail management experience
- Skilled in motivating teams and making commercial decisions
- Highly organised and adaptable, balancing results with superb customer and colleague experience
Must bring:
- Strong retail management experience, including leadership of a team
- Coaching and communication skills that clearly set expectations and purpose
- Ability to foster a motivated, positive workplace through passion, pride, and energy
- Experience in team development and HR processes
- Record of exceeding sales targets and objectives
- Self-starting, organised approach to completing tasks without supervision
- Sound commercial acumen and reliance on IT systems for store management
- Working knowledge and experience in visual merchandising
