Assistant Manager Assistant Counter Manager
Counter Manager – Bobbi Brown, Birmingham (Selfridges)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days)

About the Role
We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Counter Manager to play a key role in driving the success of the Bobbi Brown counter at Selfridges, Birmingham. This position supports the Store Manager in:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Associates
- Achieving sales, customer service, and operational targets

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
- Guide and develop Sales Associates to ensure high performance
- Maintain a positive team culture, fostering individual growth

Sales & Customer Service Excellence:
- Drive counter sales targets through exceptional customer engagement
- Deliver authentic, personalized service that aligns with Bobbi Brown’s premium brand values

Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee inventory management and product availability
- Ensure accurate cash reconciliation and POS compliance

Retail Execution:
- Uphold selfridges’ retail standards while representing Bobbi Brown’s luxury positioning
- Adapt to peak shopping periods, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
Requirements
- Retail experience (preferably in cosmetics or prestige beauty)
- Proven supervisory skills with a successful track record of:
- Coaching teams to meet sales targets
- Improving customer service outcomes
- Operations expertise in:
- Inventory control
- Cash handling and POS reconciliation
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and major events)
- Familiarity with retail POS systems
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (evidence required upon interview)
