Assistant Manager – Join the Starbucks Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities
No two days will be the same as our dynamic stores fuel your growth. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll:
Daily Leadership & Operations
- Lead shifts with a focus on outstanding commercial results and customer experience, ensuring partners are set up for success
- Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Labour efficiency
- Waste reduction
- Sales performance
- Optimise shift schedules to match customer demand while maintaining laboratory and retail standards
- Train and coach partners in quality, efficiency, and service excellence
- Embed new initiatives and product launches at store level, ensuring seamless rollout
People & Performance
- Set an example of leadership by walking the stores during shifts
- Observe partner performance, provide constructive coaching and feedback
- Recognise and celebrate partner achievements during and after shifts
- Act as duty manager when scheduled, making all operational and staffing decisions

Typical working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, or holidays.

Key requirements: ✔ Proven experience leading teams in customer-focused settings ✔ Ability to translate metrics into practical action while managing operational priorities ✔ Competent in problem-solving, data analysis, and high-quality team coaching ✔ Strong commitment to Starbucks’ core values (shared values, diversity, community)
