Assistant Manager – Slim Chickens Portsmouth

The Role

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the management team in running daily operations efficiently
  • Leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Assisting with sales strategies and boosting business performance
  • Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and food safety
  • Creating a positive, energetic work environment where everyone thrives
  • Building strong customer relationships for an outstanding experience
  • Handling administrative tasks and managing shift schedules

Requirements

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or fast-paced environment
  • A natural leader, capable of inspiring and guiding your team
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
  • Strong communication skills, organisation, and a proactive attitude
  • Confidence as a hands-on problem solver, able to stay calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
