Assistant Manager - Flagship Retail | Oxford Street, London

Salary: Up to £47,000 + Monthly Bonus + Career Progression

We're recruiting for an exceptional Assistant Manager opportunity within a flagship Oxford Street location. The Role

As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and developing a large in-store team while driving commercial performance across one of the UK's highest turnover locations.

You'll work closely with senior leadership to deliver operational excellence, maximise sales opportunities and build a high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate the store team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Drive exceptional customer service standards through visible leadership on the shop floor
  • Support day-to-day store operations and ensure seamless commercial execution
  • Use sales data and commercial insights to identify opportunities and improve performance
  • Develop and nurture talent through coaching, succession planning and performance management
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to build capability across the team
  • Maintain high standards across both front and back-of-house operations
  • Champion brand values and create an engaging customer and employee experience

About You

We're looking for an ambitious retail leader who thrives in high-volume environments and is passionate about people development.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Store Manager within a flagship or high-turnover retail environment
  • Experience leading large teams and delivering strong commercial results
  • A track record of driving sales, profitability and customer experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action
  • Excellent communication and coaching ability
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to changing business priorities
  • Energy, positivity and a genuine passion for retail and leadership
  • Previous London retail experience is highly desirable
