Assistant Manager – Gaming & Entertainment Venue in London

We run one of London's most exciting gaming bars. Late nights, competitive tournaments, themed events, and a crowd that genuinely loves being here. We're growing fast — and we need an Assistant Manager who can own the full operational picture of the venue.

What you'll do

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring smooth service across the floor, bar, and kitchen
  • Supervise and coordinate waiters, bartenders, and kitchen staff, stepping in to serve guests and work the floor yourself when needed
  • Oversee purchasing and stock control, liaising with suppliers to keep the venue fully stocked
  • Manage the POS and booking systems, ensuring accurate use across the team and resolving issues as they arise
  • Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks when covering the floor
  • Handle payments accurately and train staff on POS procedures
  • Ensure tables, bar areas, and other venue spaces are clean, well-presented, and running to standard
  • Oversee setup of PCs and consoles for guests and troubleshoot as needed

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
