Senior Manager – FS Corporate Tax
The Team
KPMG’s Financial Services (FS) Corporate Tax team is expanding, and we’re seeking a Senior Manager eager to help shape the practice’s future. We collaborate with leading UK and global banks, insurers, and asset managers, delivering sophisticated advisory and compliance solutions in a dynamic tax landscape.
Our team is collaborative, friendly, and operates both in-office and remotely. We welcome applications from candidates regardless of location.
The Role
As a Senior Manager, you’ll contribute directly to high-quality tax advisory services for our financial services clients and support the team’s growth. Your work will be diverse, stimulating, and client-facing with advisory at its core.
Key responsibilities include: • Leading and executing corporate tax advisory engagements for our client base • Providing tax technical advice, including support for Pillar Two where applicable • Managing and overseeing corporate tax and Pillar Two compliance (optional, for those interested) • Building and maintaining client relationships, with oversight of commercial and portfolio dynamics • Supporting tax audit work for our Financial Services audit clients • Contributing to business development to secure new client engagements

You’ll have autonomy, client ownership, and immediate exposure to a broad array of projects.
The Person
We seek candidates with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Requirements: • Proven experience at Senior Manager level (or equivalent) with UK corporate tax specialisation • Chartered status (e.g., CTA, ACA, CA) or equivalent (e.g., HMRC/legal/international qualification) • Deep technical knowledge of UK corporate tax to research, analyse, and resolve complex issues • Exceptional communication skills, with confidence in direct client interaction • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members • Experience managing client portfolios, financial oversight, and identifying growth opportunities
