The 440 elegant guestrooms (including 50 suites) along with 11 versatile meeting and event spaces cater to both corporate clients and social gatherings. Guests enjoy seasonal British cuisine at The Montagu Kitchen, delightful afternoon teas, and sophisticated cocktails at Churchill Bar & Terrace.

Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will:
- Lead, motivate, and support the Housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across the entire hotel.
- Monitor guest rooms, public areas, and staff amenities to ensure compliance with brand and quality standards.
- Oversee daily operations, including:
- Room assignments and inspections
- Team scheduling based on business requirements
- Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Manage hotel linen and housekeeping inventory, optimizing stock levels and controlling costs effectively.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
- Develop colleagues through:
- Coaching and training
- Performance discussions
- Regular feedback and professional development opportunities
- Assisted in departmental administration, including:
- Rota planning
- Payroll submissions
- Budgeting
- Compliance with health and safety procedures.

About You
This role is ideal for a proactive, people-focused leader with previous supervisory or management experience in housekeeping—preferably within a hotel environment. The successful candidate should:
- Have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Be confident in leading and developing teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrate excellent collaboration capabilities across cross-functional hotel departments.
- Have experience in:
- Hotel housekeeping operations
- Inventory management
- Workforce planning
