Role Description: Assistant Manager (Greenhithe)

  • Position: Full-time, on-site, under the guidance of the Store Manager
  • Key Focus: Supporting daily store operations and team leadership to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Core Responsibilities:
    • Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to high visual merchandising standards
    • Supervise and coach team members, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback
    • Assist with scheduling, stock management (deliveries, replenishment, stockroom organisation), and loss prevention
    • Monitor store performance, implement company policies, and cultivate a positive, fashion-aligned culture reflective of Lovisa’s brand values

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Experience in retail or customer-facing roles, ideally in fashion, accessories, or fast-moving consumer goods
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience (coaching, staff development, performance feedback)
  • Strong customer service skills, prioritising needs and maintaining a customer-first approach
  • Basic commercial/sales acumen (KPIs, visual merchandising, store presentation)
  • Organisation and time management (multi-tasking, high-tempo environments)
  • Clear, respectful communication, able to engage with diverse teams and customers
  • Comfort with retail technology (POS systems, inventory tools, email) -Availability for flexible shifts (weekends, evenings, holidays, per store needs)
  • Interest in fashion/jewellery trends and eagerness to represent Lovisa’s brand

Desirable (Not Mandatory):

  • Previous Assistant Manager or Keyholder experience
  • Formal qualifications in retail, business, or related fields
