Role Description
The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Carmarthen. This position supports daily operations, including supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth service across the venue. The Assistant Manager helps maintain quality standards for food, beverages, and customer experience, and monitors compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include:

- Handling customer inquiries and feedback
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering
- Supporting cash handling and basic financial reporting
- Contributing to training new team members
- Implementing company policies
- Working closely with the Manager to meet performance and service goals

Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations, including front-of-house service and basic back-of-house procedures.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on resolving issues and maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Organizational and time management abilities, including scheduling, coordinating tasks, and handling multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to food and beverage establishments.
- Comfort with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and simple administrative or reporting tasks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in hospitality or retail is preferred; relevant training or qualifications in hospitality or business are an advantage.
