Assistant Store Manager North West Area – 42.5 hours per week | Attractive salary, benefits, and bonus

The Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll:
- Lead a team alongside the Store Manager, stepping in during absences.
- Champion our SPAR and EUROSPAR brand values, ensuring outstanding store performance.
- Uphold high retail standards while driving sales, KPIs, and cost efficiency.
- Hire, train, and develop staff, fostering a motivated workforce committed to excellence.
- Manage Post Office and Food-to-Go operations as required.
- Lead by example, prioritising customer service, team well-being, and community engagement.

Location: Operative in North West Area, Northern Ireland exclusively.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations and performance.
- Train/develop team members and maintain staff morale.
- Cover additional services (Post Office, Food-to-Go) as needed.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and strategic KPI targets.

Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams in fast-paced retail/service roles.
- Proficient time management, delegation, and problem-solving.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Competence in IT packages (Microsoft Office, retail systems).
- Customer-centric mindset, ability to motivate teams, and passion for local retail.

- Experience in cost/performance management and NI food/retail sector expertise.
