Assistant Manager
Location: Shoreham by Sea
Hours per Week: 39 hours
Shift Pattern: Full-time – flexible shift patterns across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends (discussed at interview)
Salary: £31,600 per annum, plus a generous bonus scheme

We’re recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our welcoming team at Savers!
No two days are the same here. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll create a warm, supportive, and engaging environment that nurtures your store team. You’ll inspire your colleagues to deliver outstanding results while developing their skills further—proving that people always come first.
This role goes beyond retail—you’ll become a local community connector, building meaningful relationships within the area while shaping the future of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the store’s success by creating a positive, customer-focused environment that encourages staff engagement and strongly directs sales growth.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring smooth daily store operations and excellent customer service.
- Actively develop team skills, fostering a motivated, well-supported workforce.
- Engage closely with the local community to help shape and strengthen our customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to ensure the store remains an outstanding part of our portfolio.

Requirements
Do you have:
- 1+ years of retail management experience?
- Strong delegation skills to efficiently coach teams and achieve targets?
- The ability to build structured routines and identify opportunities for sales growth while keeping team morale high?
If you can answer yes to these—whilst consistently putting people at the heart of your work—you’re ready for this role.
