Role Description
The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Pearl Restaurant Bar and Lounge in Audenshaw. This role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including:

The role works closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication, efficient service, and consistent delivery of the restaurant’s brand and quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with skills in team supervision, shift leadership, and day-to-day operations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including scheduling support, basic reporting, and adherence to health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, ideally including Asian or Indian cuisine, and an understanding of high-quality dining standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, bar, or lounge is preferred.
- Basic numeracy and computer skills for handling POS systems and daily reconciliations.
- Commitment to a gender-neutral, inclusive, and respectful workplace, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
