Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Marketing Executive to support the delivery of Hawke Optics’ marketing strategy. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to gain hands-on experience across digital, content, and campaign execution within a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
This role is heavily focused on content creation, platform management, and audience engagement. You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content, responding to customers, working with influencers, and helping drive growth across channels including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain multiple social media accounts across:
- YouTube (2 channels)
- Facebook (3 pages)
- Instagram (3 accounts)
- Plan and schedule content using a structured content calendar
- Ensure consistent posting, tone of voice, and brand alignment across all platforms
- Monitor inboxes and comments, responding to customer queries and engaging with the audience

Influencer & Community Management
- Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and creators
- Coordinate product seeding and collaborations
- Manage influencer activity and ensure content delivery aligns with brand goals
- Support community growth and brand advocacy
Paid Social & Digital Advertising
- Assist with the setup and management of Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Support digital advertising campaigns across relevant platforms
- Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on results
Market & Competitor Research
- Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customer behaviour
- Provide insights to support marketing strategy and product positioning
Events & Trade Shows
- Support the organisation and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and events
- Assist with logistics, materials, and post-event follow-up
Administrative Support
- Maintain marketing calendars, asset libraries, and documentation
- Support budget tracking and supplier coordination
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business
- Strong understanding of platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Confident in creating and editing content (video and static)
- Good written communication skills and attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

Desirable:
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager or paid social campaigns
- Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut)
- Understanding of YouTube growth and optimisation
- Interest in outdoor sports, shooting, hunting, or optics
