Assistant Marketing Manager - Full Funnel Marketing

Hybrid | Chester, Halifax or Bristol | Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to recruit a Full Funnel Marketing Manager to support the delivery of customer lifecycle marketing initiatives across the customer journey.

This role will play a key part in developing and executing customer marketing strategies that drive acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and long-term customer value. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you'll help deliver innovative marketing initiatives, optimise customer experiences and contribute to the ongoing evolution of marketing capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys combining creativity, data and commercial thinking to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of customer lifecycle marketing strategies across the full customer journey.
  • Deliver integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, CRM, Digital, Product, Data, Analytics and Technology to deliver customer-focused initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys through data-driven insights, testing and optimisation.
  • Support the delivery of marketing innovation by experimenting with new channels, technologies and customer engagement approaches.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve customer outcomes and commercial performance.
  • Ensure successful transition of scalable marketing activity into ongoing operational delivery.
  • Support project planning, delivery governance and workflow management within Agile environments.
  • Manage campaign risks, budgets and delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of governance and compliance.
  • Stay informed of emerging marketing technologies, consumer trends and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with experience delivering customer-focused marketing strategies within a complex, fast-paced organisation.

Essential

  • Experience delivering Customer Lifecycle Marketing (CLM) or Full Funnel Marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention and loyalty programmes.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple digital and offline channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and customer marketing programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile project delivery environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
