Assistant Marketing Manager (CRM)
Hybrid | Chester, Halifax or Bristol | Fixed Term Contract
Help shape the customer journey through data-driven CRM marketing. We're looking for an experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to join a high-performing CRM team responsible for delivering personalised customer communications across the Credit Cards customer lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of customer marketing, executing targeted CRM campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention. Working alongside product, analytics, technology, and marketing teams, you'll help deliver meaningful customer experiences while continuously improving campaign performance through testing, automation, and data-led optimisation. What You'll Be Doing
- Manage CRM marketing campaigns for Credit Card products across the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition through to retention.
- Execute and optimise customer lifecycle communications across email and other CRM channels.
- Deliver ongoing 1:1 marketing campaigns, taking successful initiatives from pilot through to automation and scaled delivery.
- Analyse campaign performance and implement testing strategies to continuously improve customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, technology, and marketing teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
- Keep up to date with CRM marketing trends, customer behaviour, and emerging marketing technologies.
- Ensure all campaigns are delivered accurately and in accordance with regulatory and governance requirements.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering CRM marketing campaigns within Financial Services, ideally supporting Credit Card products.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalised communications.
- Experience managing multi-channel CRM campaigns, particularly email marketing.
- Knowledge of campaign optimisation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
- Experience delivering marketing activity within a regulated environment, with an understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
- Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience using workflow tools such as Jira, Workfront, or similar.

Working Pattern
This is a hybrid position with approximately two days per week in the office.
