Assistant Marketing Manager

We are looking for a football obsessed marketeer, to come and join the Mitre team, as our Assistant Marketing Manager. In footballing terms, this is the no.8 role. You will be involved in all elements of managing a much-loved global brand: be it bringing the brand to life across our social channels and creating culturally relevant football content, engaging with the Mitre community both via our socials and IRL, or supporting the delivery of the fundamental tools and assets every brand needs, you will be at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager and wider Brand team in delivering the annual marketing plan and bringing impactful campaigns to life.
  • Own the day-to-day execution of Mitre's social media strategy, managing the content calendar and ensuring the brand shows up authentically across key football and cultural moments.
  • Build and engage the Mitre community across social channels, driving advocacy, conversation and meaningful brand engagement.
  • Monitor social performance, identify optimisation opportunities and share regular trend and insight reports that inspire future content and campaigns.
  • Support the creation and rollout of marketing toolkits, brand guidelines and digital assets, ensuring a consistent brand experience across every touchpoint.
  • Collaborate with the Content team and PR agency to coordinate creative briefs, product samples, media requests, campaign activations and events.
  • Develop compelling sales tools and marketing collateral that help our commercial teams engage wholesale partners.
  • Own the organisation and management of Mitre's digital asset library, ensuring assets are accessible, current and easy to use.
  • Provide day-to-day marketing support through purchase orders, presentations and other ad-hoc activities that keep the team running smoothly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
