Assistant Marketing Manager

Location: Head Office, Wellington

Salary: £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Closing date: 4th August 2026

Are you passionate about insight-led marketing? Do you have experience evaluating a business’s social impact and transforming those insights into engaging, creative campaigns? Are you looking to join an organisation that is making a genuine difference?

At Patient Choice, we’re an NHS-contracted business dedicated to improving experiences for patients and healthcare professionals across the UK. We’re looking for a talented and proactive Assistant Marketing Manager to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing grounded in purpose and understands how creative, effective campaigns can communicate both commercial value and meaningful social impact.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll take campaigns from initial brief through to delivery and evaluation. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across digital and traditional marketing platforms, creating campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences.

You’ll adapt your messaging and approach for a wide range of audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, NHS partners, customers and other stakeholders. You’ll also help us measure and communicate the wider difference Patient Choice makes to people, communities and the NHS.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
