We’re looking for an Assistant Materials Management Analyst
To join us on a 12 month contract within our Developer Services team to be based at Finham (Coventry) or Raynesway (Derby)
Role Overview
In this role you will support the end-to-end material management process, helping to improve inventory performance and warehouse operations. You will play a key role in generating insights, supporting suppliers, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
- Generate daily purchase orders using SAP (MRP), including resolving exceptions and stakeholder queries
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports across supply chain and logistics
- Maintain supplier orderbooks to support on-time delivery and continuity of supply
- Monitor and update SAP contracts and source lists to ensure accurate and timely procurement
- Generate inventory and consumption reports to support planning activities
- Support supplier performance reviews and improvement actions
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the supply chain team
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Experience working with materials management systems, ideally SAP ECC, and a strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Confident using Excel to analyse and manage data, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to turn information into meaningful insights
- Experience creating reports, working with complex datasets, and an understanding of continuous improvement, lean principles, or end-to-end supply chain processes would be a real advantage
- A full UK Driving License
