Assistant Merchandiser – MFI
Location: On-site at Leyland HQ and travel to Skelmersdale Site Salary: Up to £32K per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (08:30 – 16:30)

Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for e-commerce and home interiors? Do you enjoy managing data, optimizing supply chains, and ensuring smooth business operations? If so, we want you to join our team as an Assistant Merchandiser.
You’ll be more than processing data—you’ll be the engine behind our stock infrastructure, ensuring customers can effortlessly find what they need to turn their spaces into their dream homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management Office: Take full ownership of our stock management system, ensuring 100% accuracy across inventory tracking, order processing, and supplier coordination.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Lead from purchase orders to international shipments, guaranteeing stock alignment with customer demand.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Compile and analyze daily inventory reports, including sell-through rates, cover weeks, and KPIs to guide commercial strategy.
- Cross-Functional Liaison Program: Serve as the vital link between buyers, warehouses, logistics partners, and suppliers, proactively addressing delays or discrepancies.
- Operational Performance Support: Assist in resolving delivery issues, collaborate with finance teams on reconciliation, and update the website with accurate pre-order dates.

What We’re Looking For
- Detail-Orientated: A relentless attention to accurate data can translate minor fixes into significant commercial wins.
- Excel Mastery: Pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulae should be your second nature—your comfort in spreadsheets is non-negotiable.
- Data Ace: Enjoy identifying trends, analyzing numerical data, and applying insights to improve performance.
- Deadline-Driven: Unafraid of working under tight deadlines while preserving precision and speed.
- Communicator Par excellence: Equally professional when engaging external suppliers and internal teams.
- Market & E-Commerce Passion: A genuine love for home interiors and trends in retail enhances the role—business experience is a plus, but hands-on merchandising or administrative experience is preferred.
