£37,000 Per Annum

At The Medlock, we’re redefining city centre hospitality with an experience that’s polished, heartfelt and unmistakably personal. As Assistant Night Manager, you’ll support the overnight leadership of the hotel, ensuring every guest experience remains seamless, secure and thoughtfully delivered while the city sleeps.

You’ll play a key role in overseeing night operations—supporting the front office, coordinating late arrivals and early departures, and ensuring the hotel runs smoothly through the quieter hours. From resolving guest queries with confidence to maintaining a calm, professional presence across the property, you’ll help shape a stay that feels effortless at any hour.

The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel is opening at the heart of Manchester's Etihad Campus, home to Manchester City Football club. This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.

The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.

The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.

We're opening our doors soon and we're building a team that's as warm, grounded and full of personality as the city we call home.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Night Manager, you’ll help lead our Nights teams, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly, safely and seamlessly through the overnight hours. You’ll foster a calm, welcoming environment where guests feel supported and genuinely cared for, no matter the time of night.

About you:

  • You have a natural, relaxed warmth and deliver hospitality that feels genuine, and never scripted
  • You lead with heart, communicate honestly, stay calm under pressure and bring individuality to your presence
  • You're passionate about developing people - instinctively building team spirit, confidence and pride
  • You're a strong communicator and collaborator, grounded, dependable and connected to the city's identity
  • You bring previous hotel customer service experience, in a similar position, ideally within a premium, lifestyle or design led property
