Assistant Centre Director – Early Childhood Education & Management

As an Assistant Centre Director at Busy Bees, you will support the Centre Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Centre Director in managing daily operations and educational standards.
  • Lead curriculum development and delivery to meet children’s needs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (health & safety, Ofsted standards).
  • Serve as a team leader/mentor to staff.
  • Enhance parent satisfaction through outstanding service and engagement.
  • Oversee administrative tasks (staff scheduling, payroll, recruitment).
  • Manage financial records, operational oversight, and sustainability planning.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in early years education.
  • Proven experience in early years leadership/supervision, ideally as an Assistant/Nursery Manager.
  • Demonstrated educational excellence in curriculum design.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and regulatory protocols.
