Key Responsibilities
- Guide the Centre Director in maintaining high experiential and operational standards across the nursery.
- Collaborate on curriculum innovation, ensuring a tailored and high-quality learning experience for children.
- Ensure full alignment with Ofsted, legislative, health & safety regulations.
- Leadership & development roles:
- Mentor and guide the staff team to foster a cohesive, highly motivated workforce.
- Strengthen relationships with parents/families, enhancing satisfaction through exceptional service models.
- Facilitate administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll involvement, and recruitment initiatives.
- Manage financial documentation, operational records, and budgetary practices to support centre sustainability.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Busy Bees is searching for a forward-thinking educator with the following elements:
- Qualifications: Must hold an approved Level 3 qualification or above in early years education—with most preference given to those evidencing management/steadfellowship.
- Experience: A proven track record in early years leadership, ideally Associate/Early Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager in the industry.
- Commitment to excellence: Demonstrates high-quality practice, innovation in curriculum design, inventive teaching approaches.
- Core Skills:
- Strong leadership and organisational performance
- Expertise in health, safety, and child protection ensuring compliance.
- Effective relational management, team-building, and clear multitasking.
