Assistant Practice Manager

Location: A J Moore & Associates, Long Eaton Status: Permanent, Part-time (32 hours over Monday–Friday)

Are you looking for the next step in your career to build on your leadership skills? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Practice Manager to join our friendly and experienced team at A J Moore & Associates.


About the Role

Reporting directly to the Business Manager, this role is ideal for someone who is GDC-registered and looking for progression from a Dental Nurse or Lead Nurse role.

Essentials

  • Part-time (32 hours)
  • Monday–Friday contract
  • Competitive pay from £15 per hour, in line with experience
  • Free parking on site

This key role will involve supporting the business manager across:

  • Team management – rotas, absence management, one-to-ones, team meetings, appraisals and development opportunities
  • Compliance – audits, checks, team registrations and training
  • Operational business as usual – Google reviews, complaints escalation, marketing incentives, recruitment

About You

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with:

  • A background in healthcare, retail, hospitality or similar service-focused environments
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • A passion for delivering great service
  • Experience leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best
  • Strong focus on operational excellence, ensuring fully-functional equipment, facilities and compliant, process-driven practice teams
