We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Band 4 Associate Practitioner to join our established and growing team in the Blood Sciences Laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding service, contributing to vital diagnostic work and patient care.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week).

About The Role
As an Associate Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our registered Biomedical Scientists in delivering high-quality laboratory services. Key responsibilities include:
- Looking after Specimen Reception and leading a team of Medical Laboratory Assistants.
- Participating in laboratory testing procedures across Haematology, Biochemistry, Point of Care Testing, Rapid COVID-19 Testing, and Blood Transfusion if required.
- Providing technical support to scientific staff within the Blood Sciences Department.
- Working collaboratively to ensure efficient and accurate processing of samples.
