Are you an experienced FE leader ready to shape the future of 16–19 education and Higher Education provision?

We're recruiting an Assistant Principal – Study Programmes & Higher Education for a leading Further Education provider in Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a senior leadership team and drive excellence across curriculum, quality, student outcomes, and strategic growth.

The Role

As Assistant Principal, you will provide strategic leadership across designated curriculum areas, leading high-performing teams to deliver outstanding Study Programmes and Higher Education provision across multiple campuses.

  • Leading curriculum strategy and development aligned to employer and regional skills needs
  • Driving outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Leading quality improvement, performance management, and Ofsted readiness
  • Developing innovative curriculum models, including digital and blended learning
  • Managing budgets, staffing, and resources across multiple sites
  • Building strong partnerships with employers, universities, and awarding bodies
  • Ensuring exceptional learner outcomes, progression, and destinations into Higher Education, apprenticeships, and employment

About You

We're looking for an inspiring FE leader with:

  • Significant senior leadership experience within Further Education
  • A proven track record of leading curriculum planning, quality improvement, and staff development
  • Strong knowledge of 16–19 Study Programmes, Higher Education provision, and the FE funding landscape
  • Experience leading teaching, learning, and assessment improvements
  • The ability to lead through change, develop high-performing teams, and use data to drive continuous improvement
  • A teaching qualification and degree (leadership qualification desirable)
