We're recruiting an Assistant Principal – Study Programmes & Higher Education for a leading Further Education provider in Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a senior leadership team and drive excellence across curriculum, quality, student outcomes, and strategic growth.
The Role
As Assistant Principal, you will provide strategic leadership across designated curriculum areas, leading high-performing teams to deliver outstanding Study Programmes and Higher Education provision across multiple campuses.

- Leading curriculum strategy and development aligned to employer and regional skills needs
- Driving outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment
- Leading quality improvement, performance management, and Ofsted readiness
- Developing innovative curriculum models, including digital and blended learning
- Managing budgets, staffing, and resources across multiple sites
- Building strong partnerships with employers, universities, and awarding bodies
- Ensuring exceptional learner outcomes, progression, and destinations into Higher Education, apprenticeships, and employment
About You
We're looking for an inspiring FE leader with:
- Significant senior leadership experience within Further Education
- A proven track record of leading curriculum planning, quality improvement, and staff development
- Strong knowledge of 16–19 Study Programmes, Higher Education provision, and the FE funding landscape
- Experience leading teaching, learning, and assessment improvements
- The ability to lead through change, develop high-performing teams, and use data to drive continuous improvement
- A teaching qualification and degree (leadership qualification desirable)
