Assistant Producer – Social-First VFX Production (Mill Hill, NW7)
Location: Mill Hill, NW7 Contract: Full-time (Monday–Friday)
About the Role
Studio B is a fast-growing creative production company with a global audience of 20 million+ followers. We specialise in social-first, VFX-led content for some of the world’s biggest brands and are seeking an experienced Assistant Producer to join us.
This is not an entry-level role. You’ll need proven experience in agency, studio, or production environments—this is about ownership, autonomy, and execution. Our team is collaborative, ambitious, and passionate about pushing creative boundaries. You’ll contribute to shaping projects, solve challenges, and grow towards a Producer role.
Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery
- Own day-to-day coordination of multiple projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones stay on track from brief to delivery.
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and blockers before they impact production.

Production & Creative Support
- Develop and maintain schedules, call sheets, and production documentation.
- Assist in concept-to-plan translation—helping creative teams bridge ideas into practical production strategies.
- Collaborate in brainstorms and feasibility discussions for new projects.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams.
- Lead client calls, updates, and feedback rounds, ensuring action items are followed through.
- Escalate issues to Producers as required.

Budget & Coordination
- Prepare budget drafts, obtain quotes, and monitor spend.
- Oversee VFX and post-production workflows, including feedback rounds, approvals, and deadlines.
- Coordinate talent, crew, locations, suppliers, and logistics for shoot productions.

Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with Producers, Creatives, Editors, and freelancers to drive projects forward.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a versatile, results-driven manager of details with:
- 3+ years’ experience in production, creative agencies, or fast-paced content studios—examples: Assistant Producer, Production Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end production workflows (pre-prod, production, post-production), with VFX/specialised content experience.
- Ability to manage client-agency-creative relationships and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Exceptional organisation—minimise chaos in high-pressure environments.
- Proactive mindset—anticipate problems and propose solutions before they arise.
- Calm under pressure, with laser-sharp focus on timelines and deadlines.
Bonus Experience
✔ Branded content, creator-led campaigns, or social-first productions. ✔ Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana).
What Success Looks Like (First 30 Days)
- Educate yourself on Studio B’s workflows, clients, and internal processes.
- Take full ownership of active project delivery.
- Introduce structure and clarity to chaotic environments.
- Build strong relationships with clients, freelancers, and internal teams.
- Earn increasing autonomy while demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
