About the Role
Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China) is seeking exceptional scholars to join them as an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics.
Our Business School, an integral part of University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), delivers world-class programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, postdoctoral and executive levels.
In this funded post, you’ll contribute to business, finance, and economics research in China while mentoring rising academics and nurturing international collaboration.

- Lead, plan, develop, and conduct research projects, objectives, and proposals—individually or collaboratively.
- Establish a national reputation, esteemed within peer-reviewed publications, conferences, and communications.
- Deliver teaching across ** Undergraduate and Master’s levels**, offering curriculum leadership.
- Design and develop modules/programmes in your specialist area, ensuring quality assurance.
- Proactively foster the growth and refinement of existing content.
- Mentor PhD dissertation research and conduct final examinations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD in Business Analytics or equivalent field
- Demonstrated potential/achievements in international peer-reviewed publishing in the relevant discipline
- Experience teaching relevant subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within international English-speaking institutions -Evidence of securing internal/ external funding for research
Preferred Traits
- Research funding track record
- Editorial experience at leading international journals
- Proven ability to mentor junior researchers and develop international academic partnerships
Remuneration & Benefits
- 5-year contract (extendable by mutual agreement)
- Annual Salary: ₺454,692 – ₺598,744 (progression beyond this depends on performance)
