Central London | £35,000–£50,000 | Hybrid Working
We're working with a leading international property consultancy looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to join its established Building Consultancy team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in commercial project management, working on a varied portfolio of Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects for a broad range of occupier and investor clients.
You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle while taking ownership of defined workstreams and developing your technical and client-facing skills.
The Role
You'll support the delivery of commercial fit-out projects from inception through to completion, with responsibilities including:
- Assisting in the delivery of Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects.
- Supporting project delivery in line with the RIBA Plan of Work.
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and specialist advisers.
- Preparing programmes, client reports and project documentation.
- Assisting with landlord and tenant matters relating to project delivery.
- Supporting tender processes and contract administration.
- Monitoring project budgets, programmes and change control.
- Attending and coordinating project meetings, including preparing minutes.
- Carrying out site inspections and producing progress reports.
- Assisting with valuations, certifications and practical completion.
- Managing your own workload across multiple live projects.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Building Surveying, Project Management or a related construction discipline.
- Experience supporting commercial construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects.
- A good understanding of project management principles and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
- The confidence to work with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Knowledge of the RIBA Plan of Work (desirable).
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
