About the Role
We're supporting a well-established, employee-focused multidisciplinary consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering complex infrastructure, engineering and environmental projects across the UK. Their Infrastructure team partners with major utilities, local authorities and public sector organisations to deliver programmes that improve the resilience and reliability of critical national infrastructure.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint either an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join their expanding Infrastructure division. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in delivering projects that have a lasting impact on communities.
Whether you're already working within infrastructure or come from a construction, property or wider built environment background, this role offers the chance to broaden your experience within one of the UK's most important infrastructure sectors.
The Project
You'll be supporting the delivery of a significant infrastructure programme focused on strengthening and improving the resilience of the electricity network across North Wales.
Following the widespread disruption caused by severe weather events, substantial investment has been committed to upgrading and reinforcing existing network infrastructure. The programme involves coordinating a wide range of activities to enable essential works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to local communities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
