As we embark on an exciting growth journey, we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Delivery Team.
The Opportunity
Based at our Hertford Head Office, you will join a busy and growing project delivery team, supporting experienced Project Managers in delivering large-scale projects across the UK and Europe.
As your experience develops, you will take ownership of smaller projects, managing them from point of order through to final handover.
This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and maintain a strong focus on customer care.

This position is ideally suited to someone with experience in project administration or early-stage project management, preferably within the construction industry. Experience in acoustics, M&E, or HVAC environments would be advantageous. Full training and mentoring will be provided to support your development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Project Managers in the delivery of projects, including coordination of logistics and preparation of Health & Safety documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they meet Allaway Acoustics’ standards and expectations
- Assisting with contractual and commercial requirements, including:
- Applications for payment
- Programmes
- Technical requirements
- Health & Safety obligations
- Liaising with all stakeholders and providing regular project updates
- Attending meetings with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Visiting sites across the UK and occasionally Europe to monitor progress and support project delivery

About You
You will be a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop a career in project management.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project administration or project management
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid passport and willingness to travel abroad, including occasional overnight stays
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset
- A strong growth mindset and commitment to continuous development
