Assistant Project Officer | 10829 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week

£26,824 to £28,142 per annum (Scale E) | County Hall, Norwich


We are looking for an organised and proactive Assistant Project Officer to join our Infrastructure Delivery Team at County Hall in Norwich. You’ll play a vital role supporting the delivery of major, high-profile infrastructure schemes, including the Norwich Western Link and Long Stratton Bypass.

Working at the heart of the team, you’ll keep projects running smoothly by coordinating meetings, managing documentation, and tracking progress against key milestones. You’ll support financial processes, maintain project systems, and work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and external partners to ensure everything is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a fast-paced and varied role where your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to stay organised will make a real impact. From supporting statutory processes to helping manage risks, budgets, and audits, you’ll be central to enabling successful project delivery across a diverse programme of work.
