Assistant Psychologist Opportunity at Roicare

Roicare, a leading provider of residential care for children with autism, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our compassionate team. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the psychological well-being and development of the children in our care, working closely with our Clinical Psychologists and multidisciplinary team.

Our facility provides specialized residential care for children with autism, learning and physical disabilities, brain injuries, and complex needs.

This is a new home which will be opening soon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work within a challenging yet exciting fast paced position delivering the highest standard of professionalism for our clients.

We prioritize specialized care, individualized support, and a collaborative approach to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting psychological assessments to gather information about the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive functioning of the children.
  • Support the implementation of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and programs under the guidance of the Clinical Psychologists.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of group therapy sessions and structured activities.
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the progress of the children, maintaining accurate records and reporting findings.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide support to caregivers and staff members in implementing behavioral strategies and therapeutic techniques.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.
