Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary to £30,000 - Dependant on Experience
Neo Property Solutions, part of the PTSG Group, deliver specialist passive fire protection services, including Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling programme of annual inspection and/or rectification works required across multi-occupancy housing, buildings of public amenity, healthcare facilities, education establishments, student accommodation blocks and security sensitive office buildings and workplaces.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based at our Leeds Head Office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain insight and knowledge of passive fire protection measures including application of building regulations and fire safety standards across various building forms. You will be assisting with a range of pre and post contract surveying duties including the preparation of upfront cost estimates, interim accounts, and payment applications.

You will be preparing for and attending commercial handover meetings, site meetings and client progress meetings while assisting with project cost control, cost planning and Quantity Surveying matters, working closely with operational and supporting design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with a range of pre and post contract surveying duties
- Preparation of upfront cost estimates, interim accounts, and payment applications
- Preparing for and attending commercial handover meetings, site meetings, and client progress meetings
- Assisting with project cost control, cost planning, and Quantity Surveying matters
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
