About The Role

Ready to build your future in construction? Join us as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and play a key role in delivering projects that shape communities and drive progress.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the heart of our project teams, ensuring that every contract runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. Your work will help us deliver high-quality results on time and within budget, making a real impact on our business and the communities we serve.

What you'll be doing

  • Commercial Support: Partner with Project Managers to manage and administer all contractual relationships.
  • Contract Management: Take the lead on a specific contract and support the wider portfolio.
  • Financial Management: Monitor project spend, validate payment applications, and prepare basic payment certificates.
  • Risk Management: Support risk management processes and help develop the Risk Register.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare commercial and technical minutes and reports.
  • Tender Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and negotiating tenders.
  • Dispute Resolution: Help gather information and documentation to resolve disputes.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about construction, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their career. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems and deliver results.

Key Requirements And Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in construction / infrastructure (utilities experience desirable)
  • Familiarity with NEC 3 or 4 contracts (Options A, C & E)
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management and project management

Desirable:

  • RICS Associate (AssocRICS) qualification
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
