Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The Role
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll play an important role in supporting the commercial management of a wide range of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing client valuations and applications for payment
- Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Supporting tendering and estimating activities
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining accurate commercial records
- Assisting with contract administration and subcontract management
- Supporting risk and opportunity assessments
- Providing commercial support to project delivery teams
- Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures
About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and keen to build a long-term career within the construction industry.
Ideally, You'll Have
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A Construction, Quantity Surveying or related qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent): desirable
- Previous experience working for a main contractor or within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for developing a career in Quantity Surveying
