As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll be joining a highly regarded London-based construction and fit-out specialist, renowned for transforming workplaces into exceptional, design-led environments across the capital. With a proven track record of delivering everything from boutique refurbishments with values between £1m - £7m commercial fit-outs. Your new role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in the successful delivery of refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion. You will be involved in cost planning, procurement, and financial management, gaining hands-on experience across all project stages. Responsibilities will include assisting with tender documentation, subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts, as well as working closely with SQS or Project Managers and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed
- Live in London or maximum 45 min commute into London
- Highly commercial with a solid understanding of profit and loss
- Possess a good understanding of construction and cost management principles
- Be proficient in Excel and general IT systems
- Demonstrate excellent communication and commerciality
- Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Previous experience of construction or fit-out, knowledge of CAT A / CAT B projects, or familiarity with JCT contracts would be advantageous but is not essential.
