Trainee Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bicester
Salary: Competitive + Full Training & Career Development
Are you looking to kick-start your career in construction?
We're working with a well-established and growing construction company in the Bicester area that's looking to recruit a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and build a long-term career within the industry.
No previous Quantity Surveying experience is required – if you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic, our client will provide the training and support you need to succeed.
The Role
Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while learning all aspects of the commercial side of construction.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cost estimates and project budgets.
- Measuring quantities from drawings.
- Supporting the preparation of valuations and cost reports.
- Helping to manage subcontractor payments and procurement.
- Learning how to prepare tender documents and quotations.
- Working closely with site and commercial teams to monitor project costs.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in construction and quantity surveying.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a long-term career.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to ask questions and learn from experienced professionals.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
