Assistant Reception Manager – Brighten Someone’s Day Every Day!
As an Assistant Reception Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our guest experience, spreading light and warmth with every interaction. This role is all about creating memorable stays that make our guests feel truly valued.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day guest services operations, including bell services, luggage storage, package delivery, valet/parking, and early check-ins/late check-outs.
- Act as a first-line problem solver to resolve guest concerns and elevate service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement continuous improvements to rituals and guest touchpoints.

Team Management & Development
- Supervise front desk staff, ensuring staffing levels are met and performance exceeds expectations.
- Conduct regular team meetings and coaching sessions to foster professional growth and line ownership.
- Recognize and reward outstanding contributions to maintain a productive and positive team culture.

Operational Excellence & Financial Responsibility
- Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives for guest services.
- Ensure adherence to policies and standards across all departments.
- Manage special projects, such as smooth transitions during hazards and emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills

Required experience:
- Familiarity with front desk environments, familiarity with POS software (e.g., Hamilton, Micros, or similar), and demonstrated growth ready for increased responsibility.
- Ability to communicate clearly and handle guest inquiries and complaints efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise tasks in high-volume settings.
