Nudge Education Assistant Regional Lead
Nudge Education is a national intervention service for children that are chronically disengaged from education. We are hopeful that the tailored and bespoke interventions that we design and deliver will help to re-engage thousands of children across the country in the coming years.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Regional Lead to join our regional team.
Responsibilities:
- Connectivity: fostering a community of skilled, like-minded professionals driven by Nudge Values to achieve our mission.
- Line management of 20 Practitioners through supervision and half-termly 1-1 meetings, embedding Performance Management Reviews and an individualised Learning & Development Plan.
- Supporting the Regional Lead to ensure the highest quality of service in the region by conducting quality visits.
- Delivering or coordinating specific training for Practitioners in key areas, as required. For example, report writing, student engagement, session planning, knowledge around the 5 cornerstones, SEND or wellbeing.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of a regional Connectivity Calendar, including Team Building Days and social events.
- Maintaining excellent administration skills, including the proofing of End of Term Reports and communicating with commissioners.
- Conducting Initial Assessments for new referrals and creating Pen Portraits that accurately reflect the young person’s needs, risk assessments and details how our model of service delivery can meet the young person’s Transition Target.
- Attending meetings or conferences with stakeholders in Regional Lead’s absence.
- Assisting Regional Leads with Practitioner inductions and onboarding queries.
- Interviewing new practitioners, as required.
- Adhering to key relevant standards as outlined by Nudge Education, Nudge Minds, Department of Education and any other relevant agency.
- Collaborating effectively with other teams across Nudge Education and Nudge Minds.

Requirements:
- Demonstrates best practice and upholds the values of the organisation at all times.
- Uses designated systems to record and report on activities within set timescales.
- Follows appropriate channels of communication.
- Communicates regularly with the Regional Lead.
- Is present with Practitioners, both online and in-person.
- Accurately reports key data as requested.

Key details of the role:
- Location: West London / Uxbridge Borders (Covering West London, South East Bucks, and occasional South London travel).
- Salary: £28,000-£31,000.
- Hours of work: Ideally full time year round, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: Permanent (subject to passing 6 month probation period).
- Reporting to: Regional Lead.
- Responsible for: Practitioners.
- Closing Date: Tuesday 4th August 2026.
